Fun & Fashion at Le Marche Heathfield

24th August 2015

It's Heathfield's 18th Anglo-French market, held every year on the August Bank Holiday it's one of the towns major events of the year. With a fine day the streets will be packed enjoying the fresh French produce and local specialities. The live music is always a great attraction and keeps the party atmosphere alive all day.

At Darcey we play our part by entering the shop window competition.  Jo, who is head of design and display always comes up with great window ideas. Keep an eye out for our entry!

Who knows what the weather will be like over the Bank Holiday so layering will be the key to success.

Two options for black trousers would be our Gardeur Zita leggings for a sleek skinny fit or our Masai Poensa trousers with their gathered waist band and gentle tapering legs for a more comfortable fit.

The white shirt is this season's must have and on-line we have the Masai Indira A-shaped shirt. The soft crinkle fabric means it won't need ironing, which has to be a bonus.

For the final layer all the Join one size tops are on trend this season, but for a splash of colour try our Join red Boxy knit, a fabulous contrast with the black and white.
