If you need a good excuse to visit Lewes this September & October the Octoberfeast is an excellent one (along with a visit to Darcey of course).
Lewes Octoberfeast is celebrating its sixth year, running this autumn from 18th September to 10th October. It’s also a worthy cause, being a small charity set up to support creative and sustainable food and drink culture in East Sussex.
There’s a lot going on but 2 on our list are the Rick Stein talk at Harveys on 22nd September (All Saints Centre from 6.30pm on) – he will then be available to sign copies of his new book, ‘From Venice to Istanbul”….
Second on our list is the Street Food Feast on 26th Sept, held in the iconic Harveys Brewery back yard (12pm-4pm), there will be a selection of the best international street food traders in our area!
Need an outfit for the OctoberFeast? Our elegant Vetono knit top with its flattering silhouette teamed with our Grey cords from Vetono (with comfortable stretch waist!) would be ideal for this event, you can make your transition into the cooler months in this timeless outfit.
We hope to see you in-between the feast festivities, it’s a good time to plan your AW15 wardrobe…. so peruse what you already have, work out the gaps in your wardrobe and we will be happy to assist you in completing your stylish & easy to wear autumn wardrobe.
