Here at Darcey we have now received our first delivery of Cut Loose linen clothes. We return to Cut Loose year after year above all because we love their designs, fabrics and quality.
Delving deeper into the history of Cut Loose it is interesting to discover their humble beginnings, selling clothes from a market stall then moving on to become a much respected business based in San Francisco. Their 'green' credentials mean they always use fabrics and dyes with a natural origin.
It is always exciting choosing our season's colours from their huge range of vibrant colours and subtle neutrals. Colours this year include the muted rasinette, rock and metal and the more vibrant wasabi green, amalfi blue and harbor red. We try and choose something for everyone's skin tone and colours that work well with each other and the rest of our collection.

A real favourite is the Kimono shirt dress in the rich rasinette linen. It can be worn in so many different ways, seen here worn open over the sleeveless shift dress or wear it with leggings and fresh white Converse.
The Pullover pucker top is going to be a firm favourite, with its easy fit. Ideal to wear with black trousers now or team with white in the summer, seen here with Cut Loose classic side button trouser.
Linen is always popular in interior schemes, again it is that relaxed and comfortable look that remains ever popular.
Susie Watson Designs offers a great range of linens by the metre together with fabulous cushions, throws and pottery. There is a branch in Tunbridge Wells but their website is full of inspiration.
A favourite shop in Lewes is Freight. Well worth walking to the top of the High Street, it offers a range of gorgeous accessories for the home including linen cushions, table linen and bags. Their rustic country look is oh so sophisticated and works well in a traditional or modern setting.
Linen is such a versatile fabric, we know it will remain a firm favourite at Darcey. Lots of choice on our website at the moment, take a look while stocks are buoyant www.darcey.co.uk. Alternatively, visit your local Darcey where we would love to show you all the new styles.
